** CONSTRUCTION PROJECT INFORMATION **
                                   Garden View Avenue Water Main Replacement Project

Dear SW Garden View Avenue Residents,

We would like to inform you that the District will be replacing the water main on Garden View Avenue between SW Scenic Drive and SW Canyon Road starting September 15, 2025.  The active construction in the roadway should be completed by middle October.  Paving the road will take place at the end of October (weather permitting), and the entire project should be completed before the end of November 2025.

This project involves the complete replacement of the water main along SW Garden View Avenue. The work is essential to improve system reliability and long-term water service to the area. This new water main will replace the main that catastrophically ruptured July 2023 and caused a disruption of service to customers on SW Scenic Drive, SW Panorama Place, SW Timberline Drive, and SW Garden View Avenue.  Please see the map on the back of this letter showing project construction area.

Service Interruptions:
During the project, temporary water service interruptions will be necessary.  The interruption of service would be one time for a few hours while your water service is switched from the existing water main to the new water main.  All affected customers will receive individual notices in advance of any planned disruptions to their service.

Traffic and Access:
A traffic management plan will be organized by the District’s construction contractor. While access to homes will be maintained, through traffic on Garden View Avenue will be rerouted for the duration of the project. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete this construction project with as little disruption as possible.
